Where to stand
Cards and passes
  1. Enrol in Emory Smart Commute; MARTA then costs $0 a month. University employees, postdocs included, get an unlimited monthly MARTA pass fully subsidised (Healthcare employees pay $17.50). At transportation.emory.edu/smart-commute submit the Employee Commuter Benefits Registration form, choose MARTA as primary mode, pick a backup benefit (20 MARTA trips or 10 parking swipes). Up to 5 business days; parking fines must be paid first. Questions: commute@emory.edu.
  2. Collect the card at the Transportation office, 1945 Starvine Way, Suite 400B, level 4 of the Starvine deck, Clairmont campus, Mon to Fri 6 AM to 3 PM. Free Route C or E shuttle from Woodruff Circle. Use the pass at least once every 30 days or it lapses.
  3. Until then, tap to pay. A bank card or Google Wallet on the orange reader as you board: $2.50 a ride, four free transfers within three hours, charged in one batch around 3 AM. Same card for every leg or the transfer is lost. No need to unlock the phone.
  4. Optional Breeze card in Google Wallet. Orange Breeze card, $2, from the Decatur Station machine; register at breezecard.com; add to Google Wallet (plus, transit card, search "Breeze"). Silver cards and the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app died on 2 May 2026; the new Breeze Mobile app only manages the account.
  5. Emory shuttles, the CCTMA bus and the Georgia Tech Stinger are free, no card, no ID.
  6. Apps. Passio GO (Emory University, star CCTMA) shows the shuttle's position live, no arrival predictions. Transit or MARTA On the Go shows the 15 live. Organic Maps holds Atlanta offline; import places.kml from this folder and every stop and place here becomes a bookmark with offline walking directions.
Record

Rows marked est. are the Emory shuttle's single published timepoint plus a fixed offset to your stop. Everything else is the agency's own schedule data. To update: run build.py, or tell Claude what changed.
